Prevention and Treatment 101 with Dr. Bulczynski

DISC In the Community: Downtown Womens Center

On Tuesday, October 5, 2010 the staff from the Diagnostic and Interventional Surgical Center (D.I.S.C.) joined together at the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles to prepare meals for approximately 70 homeless women. The Surgical Center took this as a great opportunity to donate our clean, recycled socks that are left behind at the end of our patients brief stay. read more


DISC Provides Medical Support at the OptimisSport Distance Swim Challenge

On October 16, 2010, DISC coordinated and provided over 30 individuals to provide medical support for the Distance Swim Challenge ranging from Manhattan Beach to Santa Monica. Lead by over 15 DISC physicians, the medical support team ensured the safety of over 350 competitors at eight stations along the 12.8 mile course. read more
