Once surgery is complete; our recovery rooms allow the patient to fully and quickly recover from their surgery in a private environment, often returning home within hours of their surgery. We are proud of our 98% patient satisfaction rating for our surgical center and the care we provide. This high level of personalized care in the postoperative setting greatly increases the mobilization of the patient and reduces postoperative complications.
Reducing Infections
With patient safety as our primary goal, we have taken the additional step of installing a specialized 100% HEPA air filtration system throughout the entire center and operating rooms. As an extra measure, we also installed UVC (ultraviolet) emitters that destroy incoming airborne germs, bacteria and microorganisms. By combining these measures with strict hygiene protocols, D.I.S.C. records zero MRSA surgical infections to date.
