Neurological spine surgeon and DISC founder Dr. Robert S. Bray is featured in the most recent issue of Outpatient Surgery Magazine, discussing how DISC has developed and progressed since its inception seven years ago.

DISC has had over 7,000 orthopedic, spine and pain cases and has never had an MRSA infection, blood clot, pulmonary embolism or hospital transfer for a surgical complication.

In the article, "How We're Pushing the Outpatient Spine Envelope," Dr. Bray highlights six ways to innovate to perform bigger cases with better outcomes, including surgeon selection, nurse selection and training, technological investigation and innovation, patient attention, pain management, and infection prevention.
