May is actually known across the country as Exercise is Medicine Month, and the lesson that it seeks to teach people is right there in the title:  exercise can itself be a valuable form of medicine.  A new report points out that inactivity can lead to myriad health problems, so by simply getting out and moving around, a person can avoid some of the dangerous health repercussions that become more likely with age.  One sports medicine doctor interviewed at the link noted that if exercise were a medication without side effects, people would take it in droves.

Don’t underestimate the positive impact that exercise can have on your life.  Talk with your doctor, then to a physical trainer, and start exercising today so that your tomorrow is as healthy as it could possibly be.
