Gregory Michael Martin, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and pioneer in personalized 3D hip and knee replacement. He specializes in advanced, patient-specific joint reconstruction designed to restore mobility, relieve pain, and improve long-term function.
Dr. Martin earned his medical degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude and as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, from the SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University College of Medicine. He completed his surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Columbia University Irving Medical Center / NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, followed by a fellowship in adult reconstruction and total joint replacement at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, part of the Harvard Medical School system.

With more than 20 years of experience practicing in South Florida, Dr. Martin founded Personalized Orthopedics of the Palm Beaches and co-founded Delray Beach Surgical Suites. He also serves as an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
Dr. Martin is internationally recognized for his contributions to personalized joint replacement, including performing the world’s first fully customized 3D hip replacement and one of the first customized total knee replacements in the Southeastern United States. He has collaborated with leading academic centers including Harvard University, the Mayo Clinic, Baylor College of Medicine, and University of California, San Francisco in advancing 3D-planned, patient-specific implant technology.
Dr. Martin is a contributing author to UpToDate, author of Education4Knees, and a widely published researcher in orthopedic innovation and joint replacement outcomes. He has been repeatedly recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and Palm Beach Illustrated Top Doctor, and has received multiple patient experience awards.
