With over a decade of experience, Dr. Jamali earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine in Richmond.
Post-graduation, he undertook an orthopedic internship at the University of California, San Diego, followed by an orthopedic residency at the University of California San Diego Medical Center. Dr. Jamali further honed his expertise through fellowship training in joint preservation surgery at the University of Berne in Switzerland and a second fellowship in joint replacement surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston.
