"My clinical philosophy is centered on treating every patient as I would a member of my own family. I prioritize thoughtful, individualized care and believe strongly in exhausting appropriate non-operative treatments before considering surgery. When surgery is necessary, my goal is to achieve effective relief while preserving as much natural spinal motion as possible and avoiding fusion whenever feasible.
I have particular expertise in motion-preserving techniques, including cervical laminoplasty—a specialized procedure performed by a small minority of spine surgeons—that allows decompression of the spinal cord without the need for disc space fusion. This approach can maintain neck mobility while addressing serious neurologic conditions.
