Dr. Tyler Carson is a board-certified neurological spine surgeon specializing in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery, including endoscopic spine procedures designed to reduce tissue disruption and support faster recovery. He treats patients with degenerative spine conditions, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, deformity, and complex revision problems, with treatment plans focused on relieving pain and getting patients back on their feet as safely and efficiently as possible.
Before entering medicine, Dr. Carson began his career as an engineer working with advanced aerospace materials, an experience that shaped the way he thinks about precision, technology, and innovation in spine surgery. He went on to complete a neurosurgery residency and a dedicated fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery and is board certified in neurological surgery. He now works closely with the spine industry to develop new technologies used in spine surgery and serves as faculty for training courses where he teaches other surgeons how to apply these techniques in practice.
