Personalized care with a patient-centered approach
Drawing on his specialized training, Dr. Babaria prides himself on achieving proper diagnoses for his patients’ musculoskeletal, spine and orthopedic issues by using ultrasound to give patients real-time data about their injuries. He then gives each patient a tailored plan to fit their goals, with both traditional and cutting-edge treatment options that include minimally invasive interventional procedures, neuromodulation, radiofrequency ablation and orthobiologic therapies such as PRP, prolotherapy and hyaluronic acid.
Dr. Babaria is the first osteopathic physician to join DISC. He earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in interventional spine & sports medicine at Orthopaedic Spine and Sports (OSS) Health.
In addition to his extensive training, Dr. Babaria continues to author numerous publications and helps establish industry wide guidelines for safety and ethics in interventional spine care. He has been selected onto the Patient Safety and Education Committee within the North American Spine Society (NASS), the Patient Safety Committee within the Spine Intervention Society (SIS), and the Policy and Advocacy Committee within the Pacific Spine and Pain Society (PSPS).
When he’s not treating patients or authoring safety guidelines, Dr. Babaria is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys spending time with his family, making the perfect pass in pick-up basketball, bodysurfing at the beach, customizing his vegetarian food order and growing through his spiritual process.
