MARINA DEL REY, CA: DISC Surgery Center ("DISC") has announced that its state-of-the-art Marina del Rey facility is now in-network with Medicare after meeting all qualifying health and safety standards. These standards, known as Conditions for Coverage (CFCs), encompass such key areas as surgical services, infection control, emergency preparedness and patient rights. The goal is to provide effective, safe, efficient, patient-centered, equitable and timely care.
DISC Surgery Center at Marina del Rey, which was already AAAHC accredited upon its 2023 opening, specializes in spine and musculoskeletal care performed by some of the region's top doctors in their fields. Procedures now covered for Medicare members in the 11,000 square-foot facility include total joint replacement, artificial disc replacement, microdiscectomies, spinal fusion and spinal cord stimulators, among others.
