Taking Pain Management On The Road

A new report in Healthline takes a look at those things that persons with chronic illnesses can do to have healthier, more enjoyable vacations.  It’s worth checking out if you suffer from diabetes, MS, and more, but the section that caught our attention is the one that focused specifically on how to manage chronic pain.  If you have severe back pain or some other type of malady, then the thought of buckling up for a lengthy trip might not be a positive one.  One of the most important things you can do is speak with a doctor to learn about the best way to manage pain when you’re away from home.  Oftentimes, that will mean having plenty of medication in multiple storage areas (in case you lose your bags on a flight, for instance).  You can also look into what medical facilities are available near where you’re staying.
